Andrew James Thomas

Andrew James Thomas, 21, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at his home. He was born November 24, 1999, in Aberdeen, SD. A private family service will be held January 22, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home. Live stream/guestbook available online. Burial at a later date. Andrew was a young man just getting started in his journey through life. He graduated from Aberdeen Central High in 2018. He worked at Shopko, Kohl’s, and Subway before finding his first full-time job at Midstates Printing. He enjoyed his job and the company of his co-workers. Because of his interest in the job, he purchased some printing press books. Andrew was a mechanically inclined person who took pride in everything he did. He enjoyed video games and target shooting with his buds. He met a young lady (Kenzie) who made him very happy. They shared many good times together. While visiting his Grandpa and Grandma Thares in Ipswich, they took him camping and shared many special Thanksgivings and Christmases together with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jet skiing at the Lake Cabin was also a fun time. At Grandma Barb’s there were dice games, cards, and a lot of laughs with family. Andrew liked to learn by reading and using the internet. He enjoyed fixing his cars and his Dad’s motorcycle and was proud when he could fix problems. Occasionally, he even liked going to the driving range with his dad. We all wish we had more time with Andrew. Rest assured he will be happy because he is going to heaven to be with his wonderful Mother (Sharon). She will continue to give him that same unconditional love she has always given him!!
