It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Phillips at the age of 78. David was born in Preeceville, Saskatchewan on April 25, 1942 and passed away with his daughter, Tammie by his side, in Fort St. John on January 12, 2021. 

David was predeceased by his parents, his eldest son Dennis, his second wife, Cora and all his other siblings, but two.

David leaves behind his daughter Tammie (Floyd), step-daughter Kim, his son Terence and son Darren (Carrie), as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Mike (Hazel), his sister Hazel (Frank) and a large extended family. 

 

             Tammie's sentiments on her Dad....

"Dad was a man of integrity, with a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He took great pride in his work; growing tomatoes (the challenge is on dad), his woodwork, hunting, fresh & salt water fishing, horse shoes, dancing and more.... Dad was so proud of his schooling - "I got half of my grade 12 - grade 6...." Gotcha Dad!"

There will be no service at David's request. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of David to the Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
