Joyce Ann Clayton Bowles, 66, of Roxboro, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at her home. Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin "Pod" Clayton and Mildred Clayton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Tony Clayton. Mrs. Bowles was a member of Somerset Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Bowles of the home; two sons: Todd Bowles (Toshia) and Steve Bowles (Penny), all of Roxboro; one brother, Ronald Clayton of Roxboro; four grandchildren: Dylan Bowles, Keegan Bowles, Bailee Williams and Madison Williams. Graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Person Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Allen Bowes, Wendell Bowes, Dylan Bowles, Greg Bowles, Kevin Carver and Travis Carver. Honorary pallbearer will be Keegan Bowles.
