Mr. John H. Putman, Sr., age 83, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Mr. Putman, the son of the late Stanley and Evelyn Hall Putman, was born in Rome, New York on July 11, 1937. He retired from Civil Service and also from the United States Army. On April 20, 1958, Mr. Putman was united in marriage to Harriet Tracy Putman who survives. He is also survived by his sister: Marjorie Lanthier. Mr. Putman was preceded in death his son: John H. Putman, Jr. and both daughters: Debra Jean Putman and Julie Lynn Putman. The family has chosen private services. Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
