<p>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen, our loving mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on Monday, January 4, 2021. She left us after a short battle with cancer, peacefully at home, in Aylmer, Quebec at the age of 78.</p><p>Helen was a loving and forgiving soul, who always put herself last, above all else. She made fast friends wherever she went and never had an unkind word. A smile and laugh that would light up a room. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, of which she had many.</p><p>Born in Ottawa on November 28, 1942 she is predeceased by her mother Dorothy Kane and her brothers Donald (Karen) and Michael (Murielle). Helen is survived by her two sons, Michel (Rose) and Daniel (Heather), her brother Gerald and sister Suzanne (Thom). Loving grandmother and great grandmother to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews.</p><p>Special thanks goes out to the wonderful support staff from the CLSC, Gatineau. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In her memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
