<p><strong>PITTSFIELD &ndash; Donald Avery, 55, of Pittsfield passed away suddenly at home on January 11, 2021.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Born in Norwich, Connecticut, he was the son of the late George and Ruth (Fleming) Avery.&nbsp; He was raised and educated in Connecticut, graduating from the Fitch Senior High School in Groton.&nbsp; Donald spent most of his life in Mystic, CT and later in life, he relocated to New Hampshire.</strong></p> <p><strong>Donald attended the Fire Academy and EMT training and he also worked for Globe Manufacturing as a spreader.&nbsp;&nbsp; He was an avid concert-goer, most frequently seeing one of his favorite musicians, Ozzy Osbourne.&nbsp; He enjoyed putting together model cars and was quite the jokester, having the ability to make anyone laugh at any time.</strong></p> <p><strong>He is survived by his siblings, Leah Hobbs and her husband Billy of Belmont and George Avery and his wife Jen of Harwich Port, MA.&nbsp; He also leaves his girlfriend of 14 years, Judy Price as well as many nieces and nephews.</strong></p> <p><strong>Due to the complications of Covid-19, there will be no immediate services.&nbsp; A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.&nbsp; Assisting the family with arrangements is the Still Oaks Funeral and Memorial Home in Epsom.&nbsp; To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com .&nbsp;</strong></p>

PITTSFIELD – Donald Avery, 55, of Pittsfield passed away suddenly at home on January 11, 2021. 

Born in Norwich, Connecticut, he was the son of the late George and Ruth (Fleming) Avery.  He was raised and educated in Connecticut, graduating from the Fitch Senior High School in Groton.  Donald spent most of his life in Mystic, CT and later in life, he relocated to New Hampshire.

Donald attended the Fire Academy and EMT training and he also worked for Globe Manufacturing as a spreader.   He was an avid concert-goer, most frequently seeing one of his favorite musicians, Ozzy Osbourne.  He enjoyed putting together model cars and was quite the jokester, having the ability to make anyone laugh at any time.
