Lynda Jeanne Lain

Graveside service for Lynda Parker Lain, 80, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Rosehill Cemetery. Reverend Donna Ware will officiate. Pallbearers will be Doug Mathis, Roger Mathis, Luke Tkach, and Ron McDaniel. Open visitation will be 9-5:00 Friday, January 15, 2021 at the funeral home. Lynda Parker Lain passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 in Fort Worth. She was born June 27, 1940 in Cleburne to James Erwin, Sr. and Velma Mae (Jackson) Parker. She married Carlton Michael Lain on January 20, 1985 in Cleburne. Lynda was a bank teller at Cleburne National Bank with 47 years of service. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Lynda is survived by her husband, Michael Lain of Cleburne; sons, Doug Mathis and Dee of Cleburne, Roger Mathis and Ron McDaniel of Dallas; step-daughter Tonja Barrett of Burleson; step-grandchildren, B.J. Barrett and Aly, Shiloh Tkach and Luke; step-great-grandchild, Lilli Barrett. Lynda is preceded in death by her parents and brother James E. “Jimmy” Parker, Jr. Memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
