Lesa Morris White Accomac, Virginia Obituary

Lesa Morris White

Lesa Morris White, beloved daughter of Roxie and Calvin Morris, was born on December 17, 1972 in Horntown, Virginia. She received her greatest accomplishment yet, that of eternal life on January 4, 2021. Lesa was raised and educated in Accomack County, Virginia, where she graduated from Arcadia High School in 1990. She then went to further her education at Virginia Commonwealth University. Lesa was employed by the Wicomico County Department of Corrections for over fifteen years. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age and joined Tabernacle Baptist Church in Horntown, Virginia. It was at Tabernacle that Lesa began to wear her many hats for the Lord. She was a consecrated Deaconess, served as an Usher, as well as the Youth and Praise Dance Director. Lesa was the secretary for the Thomas L. Dickerson Inspirational Choir and was the church’s bus driver. Lesa was preceded in death by her first husband of twelve years in 2011, Rodney M. Turner. On August 23, 2014, Lesa found love again and joined in holy matrimony to Stephan D. White, Sr. Lesa was one of a kind; she enjoyed singing, shopping, and most of all spending time with the loves of her life, her boys. Lesa had a huge heart when it came to her family and would do anything for them. She spoke her mind and held nothing back. In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; brother-in-law, Edward Hall; and nieces, Tyonna Morris and Makayla Hall. She leaves her love and fond memories to: her parents, Roxie and Calvin Morris of New Church, VA; husband, Stephan White of Atlantic, VA; sons, Treyvon Morris of Washington, DC and Tyreik Morris of Atlantic, VA; grandchildren, Laila and Lauryn Morris, and Jesiah Tyler, all of Pocomoke City, MD; sisters, Carolyn (Nerville) Hinmon, Deborah Hall, both of New Church, VA, Delores (Lamont) Henry of Temperanceville, VA, Leslie (William) Holden of New Church, VA, and Sylvia (Cornelius) Milburn of Horntown, VA; brother, Corey (Laurenetta) Morris of Laurel, DE; godchildren, T’keyah Hinmon of Delmar, MD, Bethany Fosque of Horntown, VA, Rakeyah Crosby of Pocomoke City, MD, and Destinee Hall of Wattsville, VA; sisters-in- law, Jonda White of Mappsville, VA, Samantha (Kenny) Ewell of New Church, VA, and Vicky Davis of Parksley, VA; brother-in-law, Issac Sample, Jr. of Parksley, VA; aunts, Anniemae Jenkins of Greenwood, DE, and Hazel (Earl) Marshall of Horntown, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends along with her WCDC Family.
