Travis, Adeline Ina (Foreman) Bay City, Michigan Our beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and aunt, Adeline Ina (Foreman) Travis, passed away after a long battle with dementia in the afternoon hours of Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Bay Shore Senior Care and Rehab Center in Bangor Township, Michigan. Age 101 years. Adeline was born on August 2, 1919 in Lincoln, Michigan to the late Denver and Mary (Clark) Foreman. 95 years ago, on Christmas Eve in Standish, Michigan; Adeline married the love of her life, Marlin Travis, and he preceded her in death on October 16, 2010. Years ago she owned and operated Carl’s Café on Midland Street in Bay City. She was a past member of the Bay City Wesleyan Church; where she directed children’s classes. One of her favorite things in life was traveling back to her hometown of Lincoln, Michigan to visit with family and friends. Adeline and Marlin owned a cabin and in Lincoln and spent time there whenever possible. Adeline will be missed dearly by all and her memories will be cherished forever. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Sharon (Jack) Mueller; daughter-in-law, Pam Travis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friend, Don Hearit; and numerous nieces and nephews. Adeline is happily reunited with her husband, Marlin Travis; children, Duane Travis, Aileen (Joseph, Jr.) Beyett, and Dennis Travis; parents, Denver and Mary (Clark) Foreman; sisters, Bertha (Harold) Anderson and Ida (Kenton) Emmerson; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Adeline’s family would like to extend a very special Thank You to the staff of the Bay Shore Senior Care and Rehab Center, especially Clara and Christine, for the extraordinary care and compassion that they provided to Adeline and their family over the last several years.
