<p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Robert (Bobby) Eugene Everett, 67, of East Ridge went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 9, 2021.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Everett retired from the City of Chattanooga after more than 25 years of service.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">He was a longtime member and leader of Boy Scout Troop #74 and also a member of the IBEW.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Mr. Everett was very active member of Delray Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher of the Willing Workers Class.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Haskell &amp; Nellie Elizabeth Gilreath Everett; and brother, Mike Everett.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Survivors are his wife, Brenda Everett;&nbsp; two step-sons, Jesse (Chantel) Bratcher and Joe (Jenny) Bratcher both of Chattanooga;&nbsp; grandchildren, Adelyna, Oaklen, McKenna, Meverick, Madden and due this Friday, Haven Leann.&nbsp;&nbsp; Sister in law, Billie&nbsp;Jean Everett.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Services will be held Wednesday, January 13th at 11 am&nbsp;in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Levonn Powell and Brother Jimmy Wease officiating.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Visit www.heritagechattanooga.com to share expression of love, view the memorial tribute and also view the funeral service livestream on Wednesday.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">We respectfully ask that social distancing, wearing masks at all times and all CDC guidelines be followed at the funeral home and cemetery.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Robert (Bobby) Eugene Everett, 67, of East Ridge went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 9, 2021.
