Brendalyn Denise Johnson, 59, of Abbeville, died Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Hospice House in Greenwood, SC. She was born in Abbeville to Amanda McGowan Johnson and the late Robert T. Johnson, Sr. Ms. Johnson was a member of the AHS graduating class of 1973. She worked for the Parke Davis Plant in Honea Path for many years and the Abbeville Nursing Home. She was a long time caregiver of the late Lee Williams. Ms. Johnson was a member of Campfield Baptist Church and the Inspirational Choir. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert T. 'Bob' Johnson, Jr. and sister, Geri J. Everette. Surviving Ms. Johnson is her mother, Deaconess Amanda Johnson; a sister, Joanne J. McClinton both of the home; three nieces and a nephew, Aprielle DeVoe, MSgt. Taz R. Brown, Antoinette Smith, Amanda McGhee and a host of extended family and friends. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Ms. Johnson will be 11:00AM Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Campfield Baptist Church with Pastor Willie J. Choice officiating. The family is at the home.
