Sheila J. Moore, Toledo, Ohio. Born to the union on John B. Belcher (Deceased) and Dorothy Belcher departed this life in January 8, 2021 surrounded by her children and loved ones. A graduate of Toledo University, she became a psychotherapist for the Zepf Center. Being a counselor to aide others was our mother’s greatest joy. She retired from the Zepf Center in 2009 after her health began to falter.
Our mother enjoyed family time, gatherings, and the casinos. Her smile, encouragements, hour long phone conversations, and witty remarks will be missed by all that had the chance to become part of “her family”.
Sheila is survived by her; children Rachel (Curtis) Jennings, Arianne (Clyde) Hawkins, and William Moore; grandchildren Ivorie, Khortnie, Cameryn, Camarie, Skye, and Jayden; seven great-grandchildren; her mother Dorothy Belcher; and siblings Thomas (Shirley) Belcher, Jonathon (Roxanne) Belcher, Michael Belcher, and Chad (Laura) Belcher. She will be fondly missed by her cousin Jean Oliver, close friends Rosemary Parker and Sally Bonds, and last but not least, Calvin King and Curtis Foulkes. Sheila was preceded in death by her father, John B. Belcher, Sr., brother Victor K. Belcher, and grandchild Mariah Moore.
