In the early hours of December 25, 2020 Cindy, wife and loving mother of two children and grandmother of two granddaughters passed away peacefully at the age of 73. She attended the University of Michigan receiving her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She moved to Denver, Colorado in the summer of 1971. Cindy worked as a compassionate caregiver at Ft. Logan Mental Hospital, Jefferson County Mental Health, National Jewish Hospital and University Physicians. The last ten years were spent at University of Colorado Hospital as an Oncology Nurse in the Melanoma Clinic. Her nature, places and people photos adorn the walls and shelves at her home in Parkhill. Cindy loved to travel and her adventures took her to countless national parks and backroads. Together she and Bill traveled to many parts of the world and because of her photography they have been able to relive and enjoy those trips. She was an accomplished seamstress and knitter and used those talents to enrich the lives of those in need around the world. Cindy was proceeded in death by her parents Dick and Jean Banger of Scottsdale, AZ. She is survived by her husband Bill of 44 years, and Daughter Kate Halpin (husband William Halpin) of Huntersville, NC and Granddaughters Molly (8) and Emily (5).
