Francis L. Fields, of Gage, Oklahoma, went peacefully to his heavenly home on January 7, 2021.

He was born on April 5, 1937. Francis was the third child to Charlie and Fern Fields. He attended Gage High School in Gage, Oklahoma, and continued his education at Panhandle A&M in Guyman, Oklahoma. After attending college, he enlisted himself into the Army, where he served as a medical clerk. He married the love of his life, Carolyn Fields, on December 10, 1965. After marriage, he worked at National Cash Register (NCR) for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, his pecan trees, and anything outdoors.

Francis is survived by his wife, F. Carolyn Fields of Bryan, Texas; his children, John Fields and wife Sherilyn of College Station, Texas, Mark Fields of Bryan, Texas, and Tracy Carroll and husband Jon of Bryan, Texas; grandchildren, Celeste Fields, Katie Carroll, Kelsey Carroll-Sorensen and husband Kyle, Kirsten Fields, and Kyle Carroll, all from Bryan-College Station, Texas; his loyal companion dog, Dolly; brothers and sisters, Glenn Fields and wife, Harold Fields and wife, Betty Moser, and Doris Via-Taylor; as well as many nieces and nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in passing by his father and mother.

Visitation is from 5-8 PM on Monday, January 18, at Hillier of BRYAN. Life Celebration Service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 19, at Skybreak Church, 4010 Harvey Rd, College Station, Texas, 77845.
