Antoinette J. Blanck Obituary

Antoinette “Tean” (Puskarich) Blanck, age 98 of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Blanck and her six siblings. She is survived by her youngest sister, June Valencic, who comforted and resided with her at William Penn Care Center. She was the beloved mother of Carolyn "Toots" Meyers and husband David Meyers. Grandmother of Karri Meyers, Chris and Lou Shearer and David and Jen Meyers. Great-grandmother of Brent and Heather Meyers, Lindsey Jovanovski, Taylor Shearer and Mackenzie, Kaylee and Garrett Meyers. Aunt of special nephew and niece Dr. Fred (Susan) Harchelroad and Debra (Steve) Nemeth. It is difficult to find the words to best describe Tean. A few that come to mind are caring, loving, funny and thoughtful. She was a proud lifelong resident of Penn Hills. Tean loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked hard, never complained and was always there when anyone needed her. Her greatest joy was being with family and friends. "BB" as her family knew her will be sadly missed by everyone she touched. Her family would like to extend their sincere thanks to William Penn Care Center for their loving care. Friends received Sunday, January 10 from 2-7 p.m. at MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Rd. (across from S & T Bank) Plum, PA 15239. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 11, at St. Susanna R. C. Church of Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, 200 Stotler Rd., Penn Hills, PA 15235. Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery.
