Maryann Daly Johnston, 66, of Chester, NJ passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Maryann was born on June 7, 1954 in Bayonne, NJ to the late Frank and Blanche Daly. She attended the University of Massachusetts- Amherst receiving a B.B.A in Marketing at the Isenberg School of Management and received her MBA in Marketing from Fordham University. Maryann was both career and family oriented. She worked for AT&T, Western Electric and Lucent Technologies, where she was a National Sales Leader for many years. She retired from there in 2001 and spent nearly the next 20 years with Coldwell Banker Realty in Chester, NJ. Maryann was a Broker/Sales Associate and a top producer with over 575 transactions which will continue to grow with her Team. Maryann loved to work, travel, hike, and ski. Her latest secret passion was golf. Although she would only play with Jim, her passion for the game was second to none. Years ago in Hawaii she had a hole in one. During the last two summers, the weekly games down the shore were a must! Maryann is survived by her husband, James H. Johnston, her son, David W. Johnston and his fiancée, Erica Reuss, her brother, Frank W. Daly, Jr. and his wife Luisa Visconti-Daly, her Brother-in-law, John Johnston and wife Jeremy, her niece, Kiera, her nephew, Ryan, her Brother-in-law, Albert Johnston and wife Patty, her nephews Albert and Patrick, her niece Anna, and her Swedish brother-in-law, Per Laestadius and wife Carina. She was predeceased by her son, Jimmy Johnston and sister, Joan M. Daly. Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of Maryann’s Life will be held outdoors in the spring. **Please do not send flowers or plant a tree.
