<p><strong>Joe Bridgewater </strong>was born August 7, 1935 in Greensburg, Kentucky to the late &nbsp;Otto &nbsp;Bridgewater and Selestine &nbsp;Anderson Bridgewater. &nbsp;He departed this life Thursday, January 7, 2021 at his resident, 4014 Campbellsville Road, having attained the age of eighty-five years and five months.</p> <p>Joe was a very devoted and faithful man to his family &amp; church. &nbsp;He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Pleasnt Hill Baptist Church in Greensburg, Kentucky, where he was &nbsp;Deacon and Chairman of the Deacon Board and remained a member until his death.&nbsp;</p> <p>Joe was preceded in death by two sons: &nbsp;Robert Lee Bridgewater and David Alexander Bridgewater. &nbsp;He was also preceded in death by his parents and &nbsp;six sisters: Queen Bridgewater, Nora Wicker, Gertrude Powell, Omelia Thorton and Faye Mitchell along with two Brothers : &nbsp;Ed Bridgewater and Amos Bridgewater.</p> <p>Joe is survived by his wife Dean Bridgewater and one sister Ernestine Martin as well as two daughters and a son-in-law: &nbsp;Jennifer Edelen and Annette Carney (Reginald Carney). &nbsp;Joe is also survived &nbsp;by Four sons and two daughter-in-laws, Melvin Mitchell, Amos Bridgewater, James Bridgewater (Lisa Bridgewater), Calvin Lee Bridgewater (Stacey Bridgewater). &nbsp;Joe leaves in memory eighteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.</p> <p><strong>Place and Time of Service: &nbsp;Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home 12:00 Monday, January 11, 2021<br /> Walk-through Visitation: &nbsp;10:30 a.m. until 12:00 Monday, January 11, 2021</strong></p> <p><strong>Ministers: &nbsp;Rev. Obituary

Joe Bridgewater was born August 7, 1935 in Greensburg, Kentucky to the late  Otto  Bridgewater and Selestine  Anderson Bridgewater.  He departed this life Thursday, January 7, 2021 at his resident, 4014 Campbellsville Road, having attained the age of eighty-five years and five months.

Joe was a very devoted and faithful man to his family & church.  He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Pleasnt Hill Baptist Church in Greensburg, Kentucky, where he was  Deacon and Chairman of the Deacon Board and remained a member until his death.
