<p>Eric Bradley Cook, 40, of Ravenna, early Thursday morning on January 7, 2021 joined our Savior and is resting in the loving arms of his Oma &amp; Opa. Eric was born February 13, 1980 in Ravenna, the son of Barbara Hyle and Dale Cook.</p> <p>Eric attended Kent Roosevelt High School and won several medals in the Special Olympics. He loved working at Hiram Farm and made many friends with people who understood who he was and helped him be his best. When he wasn&rsquo;t working on the farm, he loved spending time with his foster father and &ldquo;Lounge Buddy&rdquo; Andy Krcmar.</p> <p>Most of all, Eric will be fondly remembered for his love of Beatles music and his passion for clocks. Eric leaves behind his loving mother, Barbara Hyle, his stepfather Jim Hyle, sister and brother-in-law Tina and Jerry Boatner, nephew Bryant Boatner and his father Dale Cook. He will be missed by his loving guardian and uncle, Mike DeLuke, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.</p> <p>Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary and William Cook, his maternal grandparents, Emma and Kenton DeLuke and his uncle Jeffrey DeLuke.</p> <p>The family would like to thank the staff of Buckeye Residential for the care and support of Eric over the years.</p> <p>A Celebration of Eric&rsquo;s life and memorial service will be held later this spring. Eric Bradley Cook, 40, of Ravenna, early Thursday morning on January 7, 2021 joined our Savior and is resting in the loving arms of his Oma & Opa. Eric was born February 13, 1980 in Ravenna, the son of Barbara Hyle and Dale Cook.

Eric attended Kent Roosevelt High School and won several medals in the Special Olympics. He loved working at Hiram Farm and made many friends with people who understood who he was and helped him be his best. When he wasn’t working on the farm, he loved spending time with his foster father and “Lounge Buddy” Andy Krcmar.

Most of all, Eric will be fondly remembered for his love of Beatles music and his passion for clocks. Eric leaves behind his loving mother, Barbara Hyle, his stepfather Jim Hyle, sister and brother-in-law Tina and Jerry Boatner, nephew Bryant Boatner and his father Dale Cook.
