Sayreville Barbara A. Martin Gizzi, age 87 of Sayreville, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Kearny, she had lived in Sayreville for many years. Barbara worked for Prudential Life Insurance Company in Newark for several years, before becoming a homemaker and taking care of her beloved family. She is predeceased by her husband Daniel in 2008. Surviving are her daughters Donna Koblos and her husband Stephen, Diane Landante and her husband Ernest, Karen Foster and her partner Carlo DiNatale, her grandchildren Elena Karia and her husband Rishi, Christian Santiago, Samantha Foster and her fiancé Ryan Jerry, Danielle Foster and her fiancé Anthony DiGiovanni, Dominick Landante, Vincent Landante, her great-granddaughter Bella Rose DiGiovanni, her sister-in-law Sylvia Grompone, her brother-in-law Louis Gizzi and his wife Rose, her brother-in-law Joseph Gizzi and many nieces and nephews. All services are private and held under the direction of the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Barbara’s name be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
