Sara Joyce Sweeney Fedorczyk, 83 was born on May 6, 1937 in Nashville, Tennessee to Milton Marshall Sweeney and Sara Louise Stokes Sweeney.  She married in 1960 to Ronald Fedorczyk, Sr and had four children, Ronald Fedorczyk, Jr., Michael Fedorczyk, Mark Fedorczyk and Deborah Fedorczyk-Lingenfelter. She had two brothers, Preston Sweeney and Wayne Sweeney, and one sister, Edith Faye Sweeney Adcock.  She had seven grandchildren and 23 nephews and nieces.

Joyce led a full life and was very involved with her family. 

Joyce Graduated from David Lipscomb College in Nashville, Tennessee.  At the age of 18, she was a runner up in the Miss Tennessee Pageant. She won the Miss South Bell Pageant.  She was a Singer and Dancer on the Noel Ball radio and television show for three years.  She was a member of the Rainbows and an Eastern Star.

After marrying Ronald Fedorczyk, Sr.  Joyce moved to New Jersey.  She was an accomplished Seamstress.  One of her passions was quilting.  Joyce was an artist and enjoyed painting and all manners of sewing and needlework.

Joyce was very involved with her children throughout their activities in sports and scouting. She was her children’s biggest supporter in every endeavor. She had the pleasure of watching her grandchildren grow up while helping care for them.

Her life's work had many ventures.  Joyce loved children. She was the first female bus driver for Special Needs Children for the school systems. Joyce volunteered to drive the school buses for field trips and sports activities. She became an EF Tour Ambassador so she could take middle and high school students to experience Europe. She was an office manager, a secretary, and a great supporter of her children to help them thrive in their careers.

In her spare time, she ran the Sylvester Stallone fan club.

Joyce passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be planned for the spring in Nashville, Tennessee.
