<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Nelson Loren Dahlgren, age 48, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021, in Watertown, SD. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD. Pastor Brian McFaden will officiate. Music will be provided by Sherry DeBoer as organist.&nbsp;&nbsp;Paul Peterson will be the soloist, accompanied by Verla Peterson. The family is requested to meet at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel&nbsp;on Wednesday by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service.</strong></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Visitation will be at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown, SD, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.</strong></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Burial will be at the Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery in Strandburg, SD. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Nelson&rsquo;s great nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be: Jayson McGuire, Nate Hunke, Dylan Johnson, Kody Johnson,&nbsp;Ken Anderson and Lance Berg.</strong></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Family and friends are invited to join us at Ruffee&rsquo;s after the burial for a light luncheon and share in his memory.</strong></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Nelson Loren Dahlgren, was born on March 7, 1972, in Nuremburg, Germany, to Loren and Sue (Pauli) Dahlgren. He attended school at Grant-Deuel in&nbsp;&nbsp;Revillo, SD. He worked for Pepsi Bottling Company in Watertown, SD, and later for various friends in and around Watertown. He enjoyed spending time with all of his friends in Watertown and the surrounding area. He loved to cook, grill out and most of all, entertain people. You could always expect stories from Nelson about combines. He loved being in the field and working with area farmers. He brought a lot of laughter and entertainment to everyone he was around. Once Nelson met you, you were his friend. Years could pass by and he could still recall everything about the way you two met. He was sure to never forget your name.</strong></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Family was very important to Nelson. His great nieces and nephews were his biggest pride and joys!</strong></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>He is survived by his sister, Lisa Joi, of Strandburg, SD; niece, Kristi Johnson and her children: Shelbi, Devin, Karter, Jagger and Carsen, of Revillo, SD; nephews: Dylan Johnson and Kody (Karissa) Johnson and their daughter Kailey; and his step-mother, Sharon Dahlgren, all of Strandburg, SD.</strong></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>Nelson was preceded in death by his father, Loren Dahlgren; his mother, Sue Kasuske; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.</strong></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>
