WESTBOROUGH/GRAFTON: Jeanine (Copeland) Deranian, 51, passed away January 3, 2021 following an illness at BayState Medical Center in Springfield. She leaves her loving family; daughter Chelsey Deranian, her siblings Jeff Copeland and his wife Mary and Jerri Holland and her husband Jim, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister June Kangas. Jeanine was born August 23, 1969 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Jean (Staken) and John Copeland. She lived in Europe when she was very young before her family moved to Westborough where she was a graduate of Westborough High School prior to earning her Bachelor’s Degree from Worcester State University and Master’s Degree from Assumption College. Jeanine worked for many years as a Mental Health Therapist, primarily at Marlborough Hospital and briefly in private practice. Away from work she prized time with her daughter Chelsey above all else, but she could easily be found enjoying the sun on her shoulders watching the birds or being around her beloved dogs and cats, as she loved animals dearly. Her family hopes to host a celebration of life during the summer when her many friends and family can gather to remember her.
