Anna Louise Middleton of Miami, OK passed from this life Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Higher Call Nursing Center , Quapaw, OK. She was 78. Anna was born April 28, 1942 in Miami, OK to Charles Wesley and Celia Pauleen (McRay) Middleton. She had lived in Miami most of her life and graduated from Miami High School Class of 1960. She as a Licensed Practical Nurse for area nursing homes for 20 years. After becoming a Registered Nurse she worked at St. John’s Medical Center in Joplin, MO. She was a member of the Miami Church of Christ. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Charles Wesley Middleton, Jr., Robert Middleton, David Arthur Middleton, Fred Middleton and 2 sisters Myrtle Middleton and Vera Middleton. Survivors include 3 daughters, Melissa Ann Hocker of Miami, OK, Melony Kathline Brown of Joplin, MO and Pauleen McCoy and husband Brian of Baxter Springs, KS and 7 grandchildren. Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Harley Turner will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service on Wednesday. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
