JUANITA SUE CARROLL COX FUNERAL HOME BASTROP, LOUISIANA CROSSETT, AR. Services celebrating and honoring the life of Juanita Carroll will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at the New Life Church of God in Bastrop with Reverends Kevin McDaniel and Joey Kennedy officiating. Committal services and burial will follow at the Beekman Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7th, at New Life Church of God. Juanita Sue Carroll was born at Monroe, Louisiana on August 12, 1982. She passed away at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas on January 4, 2021 following a brief illness. Juanita is preceded in death by two brothers, "Little" Ricky Carroll and Dustin Carroll; grandfathers, James Sharp, James Gus Middlebrooks, and Melvin Carroll; uncles Ronnie Carroll and Gary Carroll; and great-grandparents, Walter and Mattie Day Newnam, Berry and Robbie Harris, and James and Dorothy Middlebrooks. Juanita was a tax prepararer with Jackson Hewitt in Camden, Arkansas. Above all she was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and devoted companion. Her greatest earthly love and joy were her three children. She was a dedicated and devoted provider for her family and a proud supporter of her children and their many activities and endeavors. She was proud of each of their successes. Juanita was known to possess a servants heart and spirit. She was committed to sharing her time and talents with her children, family, and those needing encouragement. Juanita especially enjoyed Sunday afternoon dinners and Mamaw Betty Sue's and indulging with her favorite soft drink over Sonic ice. Juanita is survived by her parents, Ricky and Robbie Carroll; her children, Cambry Brielle Grantham, Gavyn Avry Grantham, and Ethan Evan Grantham; her life companion and father of her children, Michael Grantham; brothers, Justin Carroll, Berry Carroll and wife Cicily, and Matt Carroll and wife Dawnyelle; nieces and nephews Brailynn, Khloee, Lennon, Rowyn, Spencer, Alyssa, Allie, Alaina, Alaya, Kymberlee, and Silas She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Betty Sue Middlebrooks and paternal grandmother, Juanita Carroll; aunts and uncles, Crystal McDonald and husband Greg, James Middlebrooks and wife Keri, Derrick Middlebrooks and wife Melanie, Elva Musgrove and husband Larry, Louis Carroll and wife Vickey, Ben Carroll and wife Janie, Preston Carroll and wife Mary, Clint Carroll, Kenneth Carroll, Sarah Barthol and husband Donnie, Liz Moreau and husband Dewayne, Gene Carroll and wife Joyce; lifelong friend, Jennifer Degges; numerous great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family. Serving as pallbearers for Juanita are her son and brother, Gavyn Grantham and Justin Carroll, along with Michael Carroll, Joey Carroll, Ben Carroll, Preston Carroll, James Middlebrooks, Derrick Middlebrooks, Kirkland Middlebrooks, and Austin McDonald. Honorary pallbearers are Greg McDonald, Jarrett McDonald, Caleb McDonald, Kason Middlebrooks, Jacob Middlebrooks, Adam Day, and Damon Martin.
