It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lorna Dirks, announce her passing on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Lorna was born on the farm in Armley, Saskatchewan in 1937. Along with her husband Howard their work took them to many foreign postings before settling into Nelson, BC and then retiring in Vulcan, Alberta. When Howard passed, she moved to Okotoks, Alberta, to be close to family. She is predeceased by her husband Howard in 2018; parents Roy & Mary Logan, and siblings, Shirley, Mel, and Darlene along with several sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. She will be missed by her family, extended family, many nieces and nephews and friends. Lorna was a caring and compassionate person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Tributes in Lorna’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Interment will be held at a later date.
