On Monday, January 4, 2021 the family unexpectedly said goodbye to Michael Lee Beaverbones of Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan at the age of 53 years. Michael is lovingly survived by his spouse of 20 years: Linda Kahpoonapit; two daughters: Kona Beaverbones-Kahpoonapit, Keyanna Beaverbones; three step-sons: Bradley Kahpoohnapit, Keagan Kahpoonapit, Lynden Kahpoonapit; step-daughter: Kendra Kahpoonapit; father-in-law: Jim Kahpoonapit; brother: Richard Beaverbones; three sisters: Vivian Caisse, Delma Fineblanket, Corrine Nicotine; half-brother: Ernest Jr. Gladue; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers & sisters-in-law. Michael was predeceased by his mother: Jane Agnes Beaverbones; father: Ernest Gladue; grandparents: Papesit Beaverbones, Albert Beaverbones, Blackbear Beaverbones, Gladue Grandparents; aunts: Mabel & Annie Beaverbones; uncles: Henry, Frances, Frank & Nelson Beaverbones; nephews: Chevron & Rydel; niece: Ronabree; cousins: Vaness, Isabelle & Chad.
