Mr. Joseph Peter Greer, 54, died on January 3, 2021 at his home in Ringoes surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband and father, Joseph was born in Plainfield to Bonnie and Joseph Greer. He was employed as a Senior Vice President for Amneal Pharmaceuticals and worked in pharmaceuticals for the last 32 years. Described by his loved ones as soft spoken, a prankster, and loyal; Joe always loved to share experiences with his family. An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, he was always happiest spending his weekends and summers with his family at his lake house. His favorite moments were those spent playing cards, building something in his backyard, eating a hotdog, or antiquing. He will always be remembered wearing an old baseball cap and a cardigan sweater. He is survived by his beloved wife of thirty years, Wendy (Bond) Greer, of Ringoes, NJ; his three children, Joseph C. Greer, Meghan E. Greer, and Hannah M. Greer as well as his three sisters, Jacqueline and her husband Dan McGuinnes of Hamburg, NJ, Jennifer Greer and her husband Doug McGlumphy of Stone Creek, OH, and Jeannine Fehr of Milford, PA. In addition, he is survived by his nieces and nephews, DJ and Sean McGuinnes, Jacob and Jonah McGlumphy, and Kristin, William, and Bonnie Fehr. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4:00-6:00 pm in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
