Ella Mae Dixon Wilson, 52 entered eternal rest peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Ashley River Tower of MUSC Charleston, SC. She was born on August 12, 1968 in Lee County. She was the daughter of the late Hannah Mae Dixon-McLeod and Leroy Dixon.

She attended the public schools of Lee County. Before being diagnosed with congestive heart failure, Ella worked as an CNA MedTech at Cottonwood Villas for over 10 years. During her years of survival, she lived glorious life. She was a faithful member of Kingdom Diplomatic Outreach Ministries with prophet David and Rowetta Glenn and also did bible study with Emmanuel Prophetic Ministries, Prophetess LaKeisha McLeod.

She enjoyed riding out with her husband, spending time with family and friend but most importantly, loving on her grandkids. To know Ella was to love her. She was a sassy fashionista.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy Dixon and Hannah Mae Dixon McLeod and her son Marcus Dixon.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 23 years, Phillip Wilson; three daughters, Joanna Dixon, Trameika (Darious) Dixon, Martha Jenkins; three stepchildren, Phillicia (Cedric) June, Lawanda Halley and Shaquille Wilson; four sisters, Maria (Mike) Dixon, Rowetta (David) Glenn, Lisa Dixon, Annie McLeod; two sisters-in law, Barbara Dixon and Carolyn Wilson; six brothers-in law, two special nieces, Latasha(Jasper) Prescott and Jamesia Glenn; eighteen grandchildren; seven nephews; one grandniece; four grandnephews, two adorable friends, Ruthie Jacobs and Sarah Bradley and a  host of aunts, cousins , other relatives  and friends that will miss her dearly.
