Edwin Hubert Gallagher Jr., 77, of Parker, Colorado, passed away on January 1, 2021 in Lone Tree, Colorado.  He was born in Buffalo, New York on July 12, 1943 to Edwin Hubert Sr. and Lucy San George Gallagher.

Eddie married his wife Gina Martorana in 1965 in Buffalo, New York.  He attended The University of Buffalo in 1965 graduating with a Bachelor of Arts, and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Education from SUNY College in Buffalo in 1983.

Edwin loved antiques, owned several classic cars, and loved to do the New York Times crossword puzzle and write in his journal.  He had a love of astronomy and was famous for his annual solstice lessons.  His greatest love was for his family and his grandchildren.

Survivors include Gina Gallagher nee Martorana of Parker, CO, son Edwin Gallagher of Parker, CO, daughter Lisa Gallagher Smith of Parker, CO and a granddaughter Lucy Smith and grandson Lucas Smith, also of Parker, CO.

Family wishes donation in lieu of flowers be made to American Cancer Society in Eddie's honor. (See below)
