Ephraim, Utah – Our kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, Lucia Aguilera Buirton Dunigan, age 68, of Ephraim, passed away December 22, 2020 in Provo, of complications from COVID-19. She was born June 3, 1952 in San Andres, Guanajuato, Mexico, a daughter of Jose Guadalupe Fernandez Buitron and Maria Luz Aguilera Manzo. She married Terry Lee Dunigan December 12, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada. To this union were born two sons. Lucy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved being in the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her beloved husband, Terry, of Ephraim; her two sons, Elvis Dee Dunigan and Vonny Devere and Lynette Dunigan, all of Ephraim; grandchildren: Dallas and Dakota Ellett of Ephriam; Alexandra Ramona Dunigan of Caldwell, Idaho; Elvis Jr. Dunigan, Travis Bronc Dunnigan, Keson Spencer Begay; Mishea Brylynn Dunigan and Malaki Kyeson Dunigan, both of Ephraim; her mother, Maria Luz Aguilera Manzo; and two brothers: Dolegraio Buitron and Eulogia Buitron. She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Guadalupe Fernandez Buirton and a brother, Raul Buitron. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Ephraim Park Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. where friends may call for viewing from 2:30 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
