Irene Wilma Brehmer Born September 21, 1929 at Weyburn ,Saskatchewan Passed away December 28, 2020 at Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan Predeceased by her parents Olive and Edwin Hardy, husband Herman, children Lois and her husband Allan, and Ruben. Irene leaves many cherished memories with her brother Glen (Winona), sons Edwin and Wayne (Norma), daughters Sally (Denis), and Sheila (Gerry) and daughter in law Patty Grandchildren: Jason, Keith, Brian, Christine, Michael, Mark, Curtis, Kattia, Amanda, James, Amber Great grandchildren: Emily, Ethan, Kate, Brayden, Talena, Cylas, Layla, Chayse, Kayla, Brady Irene loved family and friends, gardening, cooking, sewing and quilting, going for walks and being outdoors. In later years she loved going for car rides with her son Ed. She lived her life as a living example of kindness, generosity, inclusiveness and hospitality. She never said an unkind word about anyone. Many of her students said she was the best teacher they had saying “she REALLY cared about you.” She never complained. If you asked how she was, she always said “I’m doing well” and frequently added “I’m so fortunate”. The family wishes to thank everyone for all the kindness and friendship shared with Irene over the years. You all made her life richer and meaningful. Thank you for all the compassionate care given to Irene by the health care workers.
