Pauline was born March 15, 1927, in Weleetka, Oklahoma, the daughter of Erby and Mina (Milum) Burden. Pauline was raised and received her education in Weleetka. On January 22, 1945, Pauline was united in marriage to Paul Day. They established their initial home in Weleetka, then later in 1954, moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma. Pauline would often help with running the family business running the restaurant and the convenience store for many years. Pauline always loved having her family around her. After Paul retired, the couple would take their camper on extended trips to Euchee Lake and other locations enjoying their time together. She was a devoted Christian and loved her church family immensely. Pauline has been a longtime member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cleveland. Survivors include her son Leon Day and his wife Janice of Cleveland, Oklahoma; one sister Carolyn Dane Unterkircher of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, two children Debbie Hewitt, Tim Day, and a brother Bobby Burden. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel, with Kelby Edens officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am till 7:00 pm at the Chapman-Black Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Woodland Cemetery at Cleveland, Oklahoma.
