Joshua B. Garcia

Joshua Brandon Garcia, age 31, passed away on December 30, 2020. Joshua was born on March 10, 1989, to Esequiel Garcia Jr. and Penny Johansen in Sheboygan. Joshua graduated from Sheboygan South High School. Joshua was the proud father of Mariah Lynn DeBecker. He was also the eldest of nine children. Josh was always cracking jokes. In his life, the thing that he took most serious was his daughter, Mariah. Everything else was amusement for him. Josh loved to play jokes and pranks on his siblings and run in the yard with his nieces and nephews. Josh was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Josh loved his long hair, often referring to it as his ‘fro’ – which he would spend more time on than his sisters did on their makeup. He was a loving son, father, fun brother, and friend. Joshua is survived by his daughter, Maria L. Debecker of Sheboygan; parents, Esequiel G. Garcia Jr. of Oconto, and Penny Johansen of Beaver; siblings, Emilio Garcia of Oconto, Mercedez Garcia of Madison, Terilyn Wusterbarth Garcia of Oshkosh, Kourtney Garcia of Oconto, Dallas Garcia of Oconto, Shania Garcia of Oconto, Khloe Garcia of Beaver, and Nevaeh Garcia of Beaver. Joshua was preceded in death by an angel daughter, Brooklyn Garcia; a maternal grandfather Larry B. Johansen Sr.; a paternal grandfather, Esequiel Garcia Sr. A private funeral service will be held for Joshua on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Ballhorn Chapels (1201 N. 8th Street Sheboygan, WI, 53081) at 12:00 PM.
