Ms. Minnie McLeod, age 76, of Ozark, Alabama passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
Visitation will be Friday, January 1, 2021 from 1 PM to 4 PM at J.L. Trawick Memorial Chapel.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1 PM at J.L. Trawick Memorial Chapel, 1048 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Ozark, Alabama 36360.
Burial will immediately follow the service at Traveler's Rest Cemetery, 1014-1020 Hull Street Ozark, Alabama 36360.
Minnie Pearl McLeod was born February 13, 1944 to Jim Bob McLeod and Minnie Bell Walker McLeod in Skipperville, Alabama.
She attended D.A. Smith High School and graduated in 1963.
Minnie joined Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Skipperville, Alabama, at an early age, and later transferred her membership to Saint Paul A.M.E. Church in Ozark, Alabama.
Minnie was employed with Walmart for 25 plus years until she retired.
She gained her heavenly wings on December 29, 2020.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Jim Franklin and Emmanuel Noble McLeod.
Minnie leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters: Jocelyn (Henry) Hollins of Baton Rouge, LA and Sharon (Alexander) Frazier of Ozark, AL; three brothers: John Lee McLeod of Atlanta, GA, H B McLeod of Newark, NJ and JT (Beverly) McLeod of Midland City, AL; five sisters: Estelle Newman of Ozark, AL, Hermie Dean Miller of Newark, NJ, Joyce McLeod of Ozark, AL, Willean Jones of Ozark, AL and Pauline (Samuel) Mitchell of Fort Sill, OK; five grandchildren: Christopher Miley, Jr., Tiffany Miley, Joshua (Paula) Miley all of Baton Rouge, LA, T'Las (DeAngelo) Catlin of Florence, AL and Alexander (Alexis) Frazier, Jr. of Montgomery, AL; twelve great grandchildren; special family friends: Eddie Hargrove, Jr., Frank White and Linda Gissendanner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
