Charlotte P. Ireland

Charlotte (Pounds) Ireland, 94, of Grayson, GA, died Sunday, December 27, 2020. Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late Arthur B. Ireland who passed in 1999. Charlotte was the daughter of the late James and Ida Mae Pounds. She was born in Doraville, GA and was a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area except for 20 years she spent in New Hampshire. Charlotte worked in banking, was a business owner and a member of Dunwoody Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, David Ireland of Grayson, GA and her granddaughter, Cindy Brogdon (Vince) of Buford, GA. Charlotte also leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was sadly predeceased by her daughter, Susan Wright. A memorial walk through will be held from 9am – 11am, on Saturday, January 2, 2020 at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home – Buckminster Chapel. All attending should adhere to the Covid-19 protocol requiring all to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. Please come in the front of the building and exit through the rear doors. A Graveside Service will be held following the memorial walk through at the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Greenland, NH.
