<div><p class="obits-bio"> Glenda Rogers Hays age 84, of Knoxville passed away on March 24, 2017. Glenda was an amazing Wife, Mother and Grandmother. A 1951 graduate of Knox High School, she worked for the phone company, and Knox County School system as a cafeteria worker. She was a member of Bookwalter United Methodist Church. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially the times on the houseboat at Norris Lake and camping in Pigeon Forge.<br /> <br /> Glenda was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Lucille Rogers and brothers, Jimmy and Joe Rogers. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her devoted husband of almost 65 years Jack Hays; children, Dean, Sandy and Brad and wife Shari ; grandchildren, Kory, Rachel, Jennifer and Austin; and sister Margaret Cruze.<br /> <br /> A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, April 1st at 5pm at Bookwalter United Methodist Church 4218 Central Avenue Pike, Knoxville, TN 37912. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the church. Jack, we were so sorry to hear of Glenda's death. We always enjoyed seeing you two at the High School reunions. She was so full of memories at the 65th reunion and so enjoyed being there. She will be missed. We will keep you and the family in our thoughts and prayers.
