Obituary

Robert “Bob” Lawrence Wark, 78, passed away unexpectedly March 19, 2020 at Regency Care in Bend.

Bob was born Dec. 28, 1940, in Quincey Mass., the son of John L. Wark and Mildred (Paulson) Wark.

Bob was raised in Massachusetts and joined the Army after high school.  While stationed in Germany, Bob met the love of his life Gerlinda,  “Edith” Whidman (1963), and they were wed in 1965. Bob and Edith moved to Burns from Florida in 1969, and lived there ever since.  Bob retired from the mill in 1991.  Edith passed away on Jan. 1, 2010. They were married for 45 years.

Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing, and the community of Burns. He will be missed.

He is survived by his twin brother, Richard Wark, of North Carolina, and his younger brother, Russell Wark, also of North Carolina.

A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. in the Burns Cemetery Wednesday, March 25.
