Brenda Ann Tittle Cox Funeral Home Bastrop, Louisiana MER ROUGE, LA. Memorial services for Brenda Ann Tittle will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop with Reverend Jim Ingram officiating. In accordance to her wishes her ashes will be buried next to her father in Dexter, Missouri. Brenda Ann Mathews Tittle was born August 6, 1948 in Kennett, Missouri to Dorothy "Dot" Christman Mathews and the late Andrew Jackson Mathews, III. She passed away, surrounded by her family, on August 9, 2011 at the Oak Woods Nursing Home in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. Brenda was the owner and operator of Pampered Pets in Mer Rouge. She was also a member of the Rose Theatre where she enjoyed the plays and performances especially those which her son was an actor. Ms. Tittle is survived by her daughter, Julie Slagle, her son, Randol Tittle, a grandson, Scott Slagle all of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; her mother, Dot Mathews of Bastrop; a brother, Jack Mathews and his wife Connie Mathews of Mer Rouge; her loving companions, dogs Duke, Lindsey, and Suzie; and her cat, Ms. Kittie.
