Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Solomon Jackson, 83, of Epps will be held at 3:30PM Friday, October 21, 2005 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Delhi. Fr. Joe Puthuppally will conduct the services. Interment will be in the Epps Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM Thursday at Cox Funeral Home. Mrs. Jackson died Wednesday morning at her residence. She was retired from the West Carroll School systems after having served as secretary for the Epps School for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, L. L. “Son” Jackson and her parents Solomon R. Solomon and Salemy Maloof Solomon. She is survived by three children, Phil Jackson and wife Sharron of Epps, Wayne Jackson of West Monroe and Paula Hough and husband Donnie of Monroe; one sister, Mary Wahlen of Nokesville, VA; four grandchildren, Brad Hough, Kelly Freeland and David and Chris Jackson two great grandchildren, Grant Freeland and Braden Hough. The family also awaits the anticipated birth of her third great grandchild Anthony Christian Jackson. Pallbearers will be Eddie Guchereau, Don Gwin, Randy Miller, Mark Miller, Kevin Hale and Johnny Simms.
