Robert Delane Gentry Cox Funeral Home Bastrop, Louisiana BASTROP, LA. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Delane Gentry of Rayville, Louisiana will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Gateway Assembly of God Church at Sterlington, Louisiana. Reverend Barry Brister will officiate. Interment will be at the Wiggins Cemetery in Richland Parish under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Robert Delane Gentry was born February 8, 1946 in Winnfield, Louisiana and he passed away, surrounded by his family, on March 28, 2013 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Mr. Gentry, a welder by trade, is preceded in death by a son, Robby Dean Gentry; his sister, Mary Beth Brister; and his in-laws, Paul Land Johnson, Sue Doyon, and Camille Doyon. Mr. Gentry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Debra Dianne Gentry of Rayville, Louisiana; a son, Zebulon Paul Gentry and his wife, Angela of Rayville; three daughters, Robin Wiggins and her husband, James of Rayville, Ginger Hackler and her husband, Donnie of Katy, Texas, Pam Gentry Moore and her husband, James of Monroe, Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Josh Banks and his wife, Ashley, Mallory Williams and her husband, Jared, Mallory Murphy, Savannah Hackler, Olivia Gentry, Mason Gentry, and Jamie Wiggins and his wife, Tammie; five great-grandchildren, Torie, Josie, and Jordanne Wiggins, Hayden Banks, and Macon Williams; his father, Melburn Adair Gentry of Monroe, Louisiana; his mother and step-father, Pearline Brister and Homer Dean Brister of Sterlington, Louisiana; and two brothers, Wayne Brister and his wife, Beverly of Hannibal, Missouri, and Barry Brister and his wife, Tami of Sterlington, Louisiana. Serving as pallbearers are Jared Williams, Eugene Francois, Jerry Gentry, Josh Banks, Jamie Wiggins, and Chad Givens. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Hackler, James Wiggins, James Moore, and Carl Murphy. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
