Obituary of Emma Jean Collins 

Emma Jean Collins of Laurel passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Delmar Nursing Home.  She was 82 years old.  

She was born in Winding Gulf, WV on January 30, 1938     to the late Willie and Violet Briggs Pychon.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Arthur W. Collins in 2000 as well as a granddaughter Crystal Carter.  

Emma was a homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning.   Her late husband drove a truck and she enjoyed travelling with him.  She was a member of Christ Evangelist Church in Laurel, DE.  

She is survived by two daughters Teresa Adkins of Laurel, DE and Micky Sisk of Harrington, DE.  Emma has two living sisters Juanita Grim of Laurel, DE and Mary Sisk (Roy) of Laurel, DE.   She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Autumn Polaski (Steven) of Laurel, DE and Rickie Adkins also of Laurel, DE.  Emma was blessed with four great grandchildren, Tyler Samuels, Dominique Mangino, Gulianna Dale and Ava Adkins as well as four nieces Debbie Bryant (Jeff), Lora Cooper (Jeffrey), Denise Bryant (Allen) and Jennifer Wilkerson (Paul).  Emma also leaves behind extended family and friends.   

 Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, services and burial will be private.
