Vera Naomi Walter passed away on November 9, 2017 in Lancaster, California she was 89. Vera was born July 12, 1928 in Evansville, Indiana where she also met and married her late husband Fredric Walter. Fred and Vera moved to California where they had four children, Patricia Sue, Fredric Michael (spouse Trish), Samuel David Walter (deceased) and Lisa (spouse Will) Tangalos. Vera also has four grandchildren Courtney Phelan (spouse Michael), Colton (spouse Brittany) Walter, Alexa and Ursula Tangalos and five great grandchildren, Brady and Giselle Phelan, Sydney, Sophia and Scarlett Walter. Vera had a deep love for her children, grandchildren and husband of 64 years. After Vera worked tirelessly raising her children she volunteered for the Hospital Axillary. Vera was interested in Art and loved country music. Our beloved Vera’s memory will live in our hearts forever as she is rejoined with her husband, Frederick and son, Samuel.  Services celebrating Vera’s life will be held on 10am, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary in Palmdale.
