BORGEN Greg (Gregory) Age 64 Of Bayport, MN Passed away unexpectedly on December 21, 2020. Greg was known, loved and admired throughout the broadcasting world. He was a dedicated and valued Board Member of the MBA. Owner and President of Borgen Broadcasting "WDGY The Original Rock n Roll Station" & "WREY EL Rey". Greg was a second generation radio broadcaster who was known, loved and admired throughout Minnesota, western Wisconsin and beyond. His love of broadcasting was shown by the countless relationships he built with people, businesses and the community. He was a true family man, who did everything and more for his family that he loved so dearly. No matter what…No matter where…he was always there for us. He is the backbone of his family and forever will be. His pride of his family will live on through each of us. He celebrated a life of love and joy with his family and the many people that admired him. There was nothing he loved more than family, but he did have a love for golf, hockey, and boating. He loved sharing these activities with his family and friends. Preceded in death by his father Obed S., father and mother-in-law Edward and Alice Dulak Jr., brother-in-law Edward J. Dulak III and his 4 Boxer dogs Buffer, Zelda, Daisy and Valentine. Greg is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Lucia; mother Jeanette; brothers Mike (Pam) and Jeff (Molly). Proud father to Brooke (Jeremy) Willett, Danielle (Scott) Savage and Brent Borgen. Loving grandfather to Angelina Borgen, Roman, Kingsley and Croix Willett; Sloane and Korbin Savage; Berit, Cosette and Sydney Borgen. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held at Honsa Family Funeral Home 2460 Co Rd E East, White Bear Lake, MN on Wednesday, December 30th from 4pm - 6pm. The Funeral service will be limited to 200 pre-registered guests, and held at St. Andrews Lutheran Church Thursday December 31st at 10am.
