Obituary

Leonard Charles Hobbs, 90, of Goffstown NH, ascended into the arms of the Lord on December 9, 2020, with Betty Lou, his loving wife of 66 years, by his side.

Lenny was born on March 30, 1930.  Lenny and Betty Lou were married in 1954 before Lenny enlisted in the US Air Force.  Lenny was a proud member of the church community at Faith Baptist Church in Manchester NH.

Always witty, Lenny loved to make others smile.  He had a pun for every occasion.  Lenny was quick to help others in need; it made him happy to assist his friends and neighbors.  Lenny will be dearly missed by Betty Lou, his fellow church members, friends, his caregivers at Hackett Hill Center, and his neighbors in Goffstown.

Thank you to the many people who assisted Lenny in his last years.  Those who knew him loved him and went far beyond expectations to ensure he and Betty Lou were well cared for, just as Lenny always did in caring for others.

Leonard was predeceased by his parents and several siblings.  There will be no services.  Arrangements handled by Goodwin Funeral home.  Leonard will be laid to rest at the NH State Veterans’ Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
