<p>Mrs. Patricia J. Applegate, age 83, of Pekin, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd.</p> <p>Mrs. Applegate was born December 9, 1937 in Henryville, Indiana the daughter of Dude and Dorothy Tabor Beasley.&nbsp; She was a member of Douglas Church of Christ.&nbsp; She was a former employee of Morgan&rsquo;s White Kitchen and Indian&rsquo;s Theatre and she worked for the Federal Government and retired after 27 years. &nbsp;Pat was a graduate of Salem High School Class of 1955 and Sunset School of Missions in 1972.</p> <p>Pat married Glen Applegate on August 28, 1958 and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2011. &nbsp;She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son:&nbsp; Jim Applegate, her son-in-law, and a great grandson:&nbsp; Jacob Fleenor.</p> <p>Pat is survived by a son:&nbsp; Scott Applegate (Kim) of Pekin, her daughter:&nbsp; Marijane Crofford of Jeffersonville, daughter-in-law:&nbsp; Ann Applegate of Palmyra, a sister:&nbsp; Diana Givans of New Albany, a brother:&nbsp; Bobby Beasley (Martha) of Salem, eight grandchildren:&nbsp; Dustin (Kristi) Fleenor, Nicholas (Mariah) Applegate, Kori Jo Applegate, Kentrell Applegate (Alex), Samantha Applegate, Andrew Applegate, Keenan Shanks, six great-grandchildren:&nbsp; Hunter Fleenor, Glen Applegate, Hansley Applegate, Kane Shanks, Malayna Lamb, Jameson Lamb,&nbsp;&nbsp;Harrison Applegate, and Ruger Woods, and Cheyenne Woods.&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral services will be held Saturday at Westview Christian Church at 7PM with Johnny Beasley officiating.&nbsp; Visitation will be concurrent with her son, Jim, at Westview Christian Church from 9AM-time of service.&nbsp; Burial will be private in Olive Branch Cemetery.&nbsp;</p> <p>The services will be livestreamed on Westview Christian Church Facebook page.&nbsp;&nbsp; Masks are required and only 50 people will be allowed in the building for visitation at one time.</p>
