William Scott Rowell Obituary

Warner Robins resident William Scott Rowell passed away on December 9, 2020. He was 62 years old. The son of Gloria Alday and the late Jimmie Rowell, he was born on August 22, 1958, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He moved to Houston County at the age of two. William was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Angela Rowell Wilkerson. As a young boy, William played football at the Warner Robins Recreation Department and never lost his love of the sport. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and various other sporting events. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. From a young age and until 2004 William worked as an electrician at Allgood Electric. He also played on the Allgood Softball Team for many years. He later owned an appliance repair company before going on to work at Pierce Parts and Service as an electrician and technician. In addition to his mother, Gloria Alday, William is survived by his children, Jessica Brittan Rowell (Steve) of Warner Robins, Karlee Autumn Steele (Billy)of Macon, and Chelsea Rowell of Alma; siblings, Tim Morgan (Karen), Jason Alday, Jonas Alday (Dawn); grandchildren, MyKenzy, Rydder, Jurney, Ashlin, Tanner, Julian and Legend; four nephews, and two nieces. A memorial services for William will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at McCullough Funeral Home. The Reverend Terry Hedden will officiate.
