Robert Lee Nicholas, 81 of Salinas passed away, Tuesday, April 5, 2016. He was born April 11, 1934 in Mississippi. He was a member of the American Legion Post #31. He was an Electrician and Musician. Robert served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Robin and Debbie. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gayle Nicholas, daughters, Ann Thomas McDaniel, Lisa Word, Kim Ornalas, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at American Legion Post #31, 14 West Laurel Drive, Salinas, Ca. 93906.
