Barbara Nutting Tims Gregorio, 90 of Tuolumne passed away Monday, November 7, 2016. She was born January 31, 1926 in San Francisco, CA. Barbara grew up in Salinas, where her father & mother were in the agriculture business. She attended schools in Belmont, Notre Dame and several other colleges before settling down with her family, including 8 children, at the Nutting Estate in Arroyo Seco. She owned & operated Swensen's Ice Cream Parlor in the 1970's. She was a world traveler and lived in Spain after the passing of her beloved husband, Walter John Gregorio. She will be missed by all who knew & loved her. Barbara was a loving, Mother, Wife and Friend. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Danly (Danny) Tims, sister, Nancy Nutting Liggett Swift, and husband, Walter John Gregorio Sr. She is survived by her Children: Rick Gregorio, Nancy Tims-Salmeri, Jana Marie Tims-Evans, Byron Tims, Sara Tims-Herrin, Kenny Tims, Walter John Gregorio Jr., Anet Tims-Sewell, 16 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. A Rosary will be held 7:00p.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, Salinas, CA. 93901. Memorial Mass will be 11:00a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. Joseph Church, 1 Railroad Ave. Spreckels, CA. 93962.
