Ivan F. Northrup 82 of Salinas passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at his home in Salinas, CA. He was born August 12, 1932 in Ava, Missouri. He retired from Fort Ord as an Auto Mechanic 38 years of service. Also was a Commercial Fisherman of Monterey Coast, and enjoyed making stone jewelry for many years, gardening and garage sales. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Northrup. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Melinda J. Northrup of Salinas, daughter, Vickie (Danny) Hattery of Missouri, sons Donald Northrup of Missouri, Phillip Northrup of Prunedale, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
