ROBERT LEE NORTH, 79, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Prairie Hills in Clinton, IA. A private family graveside service will be held at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton, IL, preceded by a private family visitation at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Robert was born October 27, 1941, in Paris, IL, to Samuel L. and Katheryn (Petty) North. He was educated in the Paris, IL, grade schools and was a 1959 graduate of Paris High School. He married Linda L. Dohse on November 5, 1966, in Morrison, IL. Robert was a 55 year member of the Boilermakers Local 60 in Morton, IL. He was a former member of the National Guard. Robert was a member of the Fulton Masonic Lodge #189 AF & AM and Merton Chapter of the Eastern Star in Fulton. He was also a member of the Moline Scottish Rite where he was a 32nd degree mason. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family especially watching the grandchildren’s sporting events. Survivors include his wife, Linda; one son, Michael North of Fulton, IL; three grandchildren, Kegan, Erik, and Jakob North; one brother, Jim North of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
